We got hooked up with a fat pack from New York based street artist Dint Wooer Krsna. Click the jump for more
This was a big deal so even Shasta had to join Qtip at the door for this one (that's her yellow bandana in the pic below).
Dint Wooer Krsna is one of the biggest names in New York street art. It is hard to find a photo of the street scene in New York that doesn't have a piece from Dint Wooer in it. You can see more stuff on his Flickr.
Krsna recently made a West Coast run out to LA. We have covered his stuff on the blog, and he sent us this fat pack of stuff including a t-shirt and a bunch of different stickers and designs.
We think its awesome seeing Krsna's stuff on the streets, and we love the hookup!

Street art or advertisement?
We are pretty sure these aren't ads since they aren't trying to sell something. Then why do they feel like advertisements?
Maybe because they look exactly like the advertisements that are shown in the bottom pic below.
Eh, we like the attitude in the words, but we feel that if you market something like an advert, it gets viewed, and ignored like one.
Street art has a different feel than advertising, and we'd like to see it stay that way.
Clearly whoever put this up does not know much about street art, because the 'Suckadick' paster is capping Free Humanity, Destroy All Design, and Dint Wooer Krsna all at once. And if there is one way to make sure a piece won't last long, its by capping some of the biggest names in the street game.
Ripping Down Signs To Get Street Art
This is the sign we posted earlier this week with street art from Blinky put on it. It looks like someone ripped down the sign to try and get the art. Click the jump for more
This is speculation, but the sign was riding only a few days ago. We are guessing that someone broke down the sign to try and take it, but since the sign is so big (it wouldn't fit in most cars, or even on the roof of most vehicles), it looks like they gave up on that idea, and then tried scraping the Blinky heads off.
It was left here to die, and then got tagged over a few times.
Also, new tag from Berbo on the wall. Joining 2wenty, Facebook, Charlie Sheen, Tiger Blood, Common Cents, Swift, BC, Dint Wooer, Koffinz, Killed, Felix, Bankrupt Slut. And notice how many advertisements are popping up as well.

Dint Wooer Krsna is a NY based street artist who has brought his aesthetic to the streets of LA in force.
The Daily News -Betso and Besto
Awesome little mini-street art wall on Fairfax. It features a bunch of cool street art, but what especially caught out eye was the new Besto sticker next to a Betso Bear. Click the jump below for more
Even though the names sound familiar, each artist has made a name in their own right.
Betso is a character based graffiti/street artist who is based in Salt Lake but shares art all over the Western US.
Besto, on the other hand, is one of LA's top graffiti writers with colorful full color pieces all over the city. These are the first stickers we have seen from Besto, and since he seems to be based in downtown LA, it is great seeing him getting up on Fairfax.
Cool to see those two names together for the first time. Also joining street art from Dog Byte, Dint Wooer, Bankrupt Slut, Jaber, JDI, The Status Faction, Plavex, Seves, and a couple of hand drawn tags we can't quite make out.
