Chase hooked us up with some stickers and a cool book detailing the pieces of public art that he has done over the years.

Cool stuff, and loaded with positive messages. 'Remember Who You Are~'

Thanks for the hook up, Chase!

Hooked Up - Morelworks

Got hooked up from Morelworks with a dope t with a print from The Phantom Street Artist saying 'Art Saves Lives'.

Morelworks does fine art publishing and supports LA's street art scene by producing prints and pieces featuring a lot of local talent. They also take great photos and sometimes contribute to the blog. So check out their website if you want an 'Art Saves Lives' shirt of your own.

Thanks for the hook up, Morelworks!

Hooked Up - SHT! (pt 2/2)

Part two of the massive hookup from Sht! featuring more prints.

The beige colored ones really caught our eye. The images are powerful and the texture on the paper is really interesting.

If you dig the prints, you can pick one up over at Sht!'s website.

Thanks for the hookup, Sht!

Hooked Up - SHT! (pt 1/2)

We got a lot of Sht!

South Carolina based street artist Sht! just sent us the biggest hook up ever.

Sht! is a street artist heralding from Charleston, South Carolina, the same place Shepard Fairey is from. Sht! just rolled through LA to coincide with the opening of Art In The Streets at MOCA, and slammed the city with all kinds of Sht! while in town. We were really impressed with the way the campaign got down all over LA.

And just like Sht! hit the town, this hook up was massive. Sht! sent 13 prints, 2 t-shirts, and around a hundred or more assorted stickers. Its so big we had to split the feature into 2 parts. So, check out this awesome Sht!. And if you dig what you see, be sure to check out Sht!'s web store for some great prices on cool prints.

Hooked Up - Alec Monopoly Live Painting

While we were hanging out shooting photos of Alec Monopoly, Haculla and Chad Muska putting up art at Brooklyn Projects a few days ago, Alec hooked us up with this dope hand tagged paster.

The Monopoly Man image on the piece has never been on the streets yet. Alec created the piece for his New York art show in response to some trouble he had with the NYPD at the time.

We love the piece, and think its very cool of Alec to hook us up with this piece before it hits the streets. Alec didn't tell us it was going up, but we assume that some of these Monopoly Man vs. The Police pasters might be making it to the streets soon.

Thanks for the hook up, Alec!

Hooked Up - Chad Muska

"Rich Girls Will Break Your Heart, Poor Girls Will Take Your Money".

While we were hanging out watching Alec Monopoly, Haculla, and Chad Muska, we got the opportunity to ask Chad to tag up a few things.

Chad was super cool as always, and bonded with Shasta as he tagged up some stickers and and a pair of shoes. The shoes are special. They are Chad's signature shoes, the Supra Skytop II Gradients. The Skytop is one of our favorite shoes, and these are super limited to 600 pairs worldwide.

It was an amazing experience watching Chad rock the wall and put up some street art.

Stay up~

Hooked Up - MAR

Mar came by and hooked us up with a dope green hand painted paster featuring one of his sexy girls. Love it~

The shading on Mar's girls is unique, and we always wondered what filter he used to develop this aesthetic, and Mar told us that the image is based on a hand painted piece.

If you dig Mar's art around town, make sure to check out his tumblr.

Thanks for the hook up, Mar!

Hooked Up - Alec Monopoly

Alec Monopoly hooked us up with some dope hand splattered Robert Dinero stickers.

Alec told us that he adds the splatter to spin some personalization onto the impersonal feel of the printed stickers.

And, some people might think that splatter is a simple thing, but it takes talent to do it well. There is absolutely beautiful movement in the splatter along these stickers. Dig it~

Hooked Up - Cyrcle

At the Street Heart Art Show, Cyrcle had an amazing set up of original art, right in front of the main entrance.

And they hooked us up with a dope print at the show. This reverse printed Cyrcle skull looks awesome-like looking at a negative of old film.

These guys have been steady smashing the streets for quite some time, and we are thrilled to have Cyrcle and DD$ in our upcoming art show.

Thanks for the hook up, Cyrcle!
