Common Cents had a custom spray can scavenger hunt yesterday, and he was cool enough to come hook one up on the way.

Common Cents Scavenger Hunt- The Can is Mightier Than The Sword
Exciting stuff today.
There's another scavenger hunt on Melrose today, with Common Cents dropping 13 custom spray cans. Click the jump for location details and a 'hint' on the still unclaimed Snyder photo scavenger hunt.
Common Cents made a run of 17 of these custom spray cans. Each one is numbered and says 'The Can is Mightier Than The Sword'. He has placed all 13 of these on Melrose, in between Fairfax and Gower. And he just placed them mid-afternoon so HURRY!
And in this pic below is a hint for Snyder's scavenger hunt. There is not a winner yet, and this is possibly the hardest spot to find, as its on a side street on the outskirts of the heavy art central on Melrose. So, if you find the other 4, and post them on Snyder's Facebook, you can win an original piece of art. And possibly a custom spray can too!

Hooked Up - Common Cents
Got hooked up with a fat pack of art from Common Cents. It includes a limited edition print, a paster and a bunch of stickers.
We've really dug what Common Cents has been doing on the streets, and he is one of our favorite new artists to hit the scene recently.
The hand splattered Buffalo print is limited to 18 pieces. If you dig the Buffalo print, you can get one directly from CC on his Facebook, but you'd better hurry since there are only a few left.

Daily Barracuda Update - The Scene Is Flooded!
Another day. More art, and another partial buff.
This scene is flooded!
There is some commentary that has been added the beautiful mess that is the layered wall at De La Barracuda. New street artist Subtle placed a sign that says 'Scene Flooded' up top on the balcony amidst all the half-buffed madness. We dig how this piece interacts with the space around it.
Also featuring new art from Serf with multi-colored cassette tapes and Common Cents posters saying 'How Could You Be So Heartless'.
Joining Cibass, D Young V, Sturad and a wall of half-buffed stuff. (The Vans Advertisement got fully buffed out this morning)
More Billboard Action
Fresh new work from Common Cents going up on this billboard spot. And it also looks like someone ripped down the Desire Obtain Cherish Oscar pieces that were up there. Click the jump for more
We don't think it was Common Cents who tore down the Desire Obtain Cherish pieces. We've never seen anything like that from him to indicate anything like that.
Still, it does appear to be torn don on purpose, not buffed, as everything else on the billboard is still riding like the dual Seizer faces.
