Alec Monopoly Custom Shoes and Phone

MELROSEandFAIRFAX has the exclusive look a some Alec Monopoly customized shoes, and cell phone. Click the jump for more

We have mentioned before how we have a deep love for shoes. We have what we believe to be the largest customized sneaker collection in the world (22 pairs!). And we were super impressed when Alec Monopoly came by wearing a pair of customized 'Monopoly Man' sneakers.

Alec is a man of style, and we are familiar with most types of sneakers, from Nike to Supra, but we have never heard of the type of shoes Alec is wearing. It turns out this guy has sneaker game like Kanye West, and these Dior Homme shoes are approximately $700 sneakers--and that is before the priceless art is added into the mix.

And Alec told us that he is a sneaker lover as well. He said the first pieces of art he sold all came packaged with a pair of custom shoes! So awesome~

Can't say enough about how much we dig Alec's customized shoes. Shoes are our love, but some folks might be even more interested in Alec's customized Robert Di Nero cell phone. It is not just slapped on there, but the art fits the phone perfectly. Just like with the placement of his sticker, and Alec's pieces on the streets, we were impressed throughout the night of hanging out with Alec's remarkable eye, and he seemed to notice things that most people wouldn't. It is no wonder why he is always catching the prime, virgin spots around town.

Thanks for sharing these with us, Alec. Stay up~

Hooked Up - Nike Air Jordan Retro 3 White/Cement

MELROSEandFAIRFAX got hooked up with a pair of the Nike Air Jordan Retro 3 in white/cement print.

We actually gave ourselves the hook-up on these, but the shoes are so seminal that we felt they deserved a post.

And we kind of lucked out. We had slept on these when they released 2 weeks ago, thinking we could score a pair down the line. But when we went to the House of Hoops in the Beverly Center, they only had floor models left, except for this one pair that was still deadstock, and it just so happened it was in our size. Good stuff~

A year ago the M&F team would have been camped out every other weekend for the hot new sneaker release. We still love the sneaks, but now we spend our time and energy hitting the streets wearing the freshest kicks and snapping pics of LA's dope street art.

Sneak Peak at New Diamond Supply Co. Sneaker

MELROSEandFAIRFAX came up on a photo shoot for a pair of sneakers for the Diamond Supply Co.

We have got an exclusive sneak peak of the shoes. Click the jump for more pics & info

Diamond Supply Co. sneakers are always buttery. The Tiffany Diamond Nike SB Dunks are one of the most heralded shoes of all time.

These shoes follow the same color scheme of those classic joints. They drop date on these shoes is later this year, so you're gonna have to wait to get a pair, but enjoy the pics for now.

(BTW-if there is anyone who works for Diamond, hit us up. As sneaker lovers and semi-professional photographers, we guarantee we could get better photos than you did from this shoot. The light is all wrong. We'd love to help out. Just sayin~)

Nike Transformer Huarache Megatrons

A shiny pair of Nike Transformers Huarache Megatrons.

These released with the first Transformers movie, and because of a dispute between Nike and Transformers, the logo branding was knocked off the shoe.

With sidewalk tags from Irok Rotting Fresh, Yermoe, NHDK and ?.

High High Low Tops

Followers of the blog know that we love sneakers, as well as street art.

This is the best of both worlds with sneakers hanging from the wires as street art.

In front of The Hundreds on Rosewood, and the shoes are a model from The Hundreds, though we don't know which.

Acid Boys

Sticker combo inside this box from Cloud 9, JDI, Lousy, Charm, AL, Duck, Fren, Bran TRB, FYF and a few more slap-tags we can't make out.

And wearing a fresh pair of Rasta Nike Air Stab's.

Vanessa Hudgins

"Vanessa Hudgins- We have the same agency. Let me take you out?"

Hand invite from AJL. (just leave the sneakers on!)
