Hooked Up- DD$

DD$ has been killing it with these massive hand painted pieces on the streets of LA recently. And they were good enough to come and hook us up with a HUGE piece.

Qtip is a true conosuoir of street art, and even though she hadn't been out of the house in a few days, the first thing she checked up on outside was the hand painted piece.

The hand painted piece from DD$ continues the theme of 'Blow Your Mind' and this one features Abraham Lincoln.

Just like this piece we got hooked up with, the portraits that are going up on the streets are hand painted. This is especially impressive, as a single piece can take hours to complete.

We have seen big things from DD$ on the streets. We look forward to more in the future.

DD$- Attitude Is The Remedy

DD$ comes strong with another impressive hand painted portrait. This one on a rooftop on Melrose.

The DD$ mural appears to be Lady Gaga and it says 'Love Hurts - Attitude is the Remedy'. Very well done and impressive for going big with a hand painted piece on the streets, not a stencil or a poster.

And next to it is a piece from Felix also about Love. We are not sure of the order of the pieces or if they play off each other, but next to the Felix piece is scrawled 'In the haze of infatuation, anything seems like love.' Fair point. Or art. We have said it before and we will keep saying it, if you're going to use a can, make sure you know how to use it.
