Street Art Swings

Artist Jeff Waldman has received a grant from the 'Awesome Foundation' to place 1000 unsanctioned swings in Los Angeles.

He plans to hang the swings from trees and urban things like poles or bridges. It sounds like a really cool project. We love the way it actively changes an urban environment into a playground.

3D & 2D Street Art - Switched Up!

What is interesting about this pairing, is that usually, Stikman is the one doing 3D street art. But here, Stikman has the 2 dimensional character next to the hand painted 3D box.

Not sure- but think the 3D box is from GONE, who usually excels in the 2D world of stickers.

Interesting piece of 3d street art. At first it looked like a birdhouse, but closer inspections is that it is some sort of intricate art project made of woven pieces.

Betso- Still Ridin'

We always love finding a Betso piece on the streets of Los Angeles.

This hand painted 3d street art bear from Betso has been riding at this spot for years, and it still looks great. Notice the beautiful shading on this piece. It is cracked and looks like someone tried to take it before it broke, but it is still ridin' strong!

Dfaced-Half A Gallon of Dripping Paint Street Art

Interesting piece of 3d street art featuring half a gallon of paint that has been chopped in half and then affixed to the side of this electrical box. And very professional job, as with blue drips added on site so that there is paint dripping from the piece to the ground below.

Very impressive. Not sure who the artist is, but it might be Dface? As you can see with the mural in the background, this was placed out in front of the Dface mural at the Corey Helford Gallery where he had his last show.

Up with stickers from Dface and Bankrupt along with two tags we can't make out.
